St. Petersburg, FL (March 16, 2010) – The Florida Holocaust Museum proudly announces the creation of Genocide and Human Rights Awareness Month (GHRAM), April 1 – 30. The program’s goal is to build public awareness about the Holocaust, the current genocide in Darfur, past genocides, and past and current human rights violations.
Darfur/Darfur, the international, traveling exhibition of photographs of the current genocide in Darfur, will be on view at the Museum during the entire month; a special multimedia projection on the exterior of the Museum will be shown April 1 – 7, beginning at dusk each evening. Darfur/Darfur was produced by Art Works Projects.
