Florida Holocaust Museum Mourns Death of Representative C.W. “Bill” Young

 October 19, 2013

Amy Epstein, Founding Board Chair of the Florida Holocaust Museum issued the following statement today in reaction to the death of Congressman C.W. “Bill” Young:

Today we mourn the passing of Congressman C.W. “Bill” Young, who was a dedicated supporter of the Florida Holocaust Museum and its mission from its earliest beginnings. In recognition of his contribution to the Museum's growth, the Congressman was awarded the Loebenberg Humanitarian Award in 2006.

The mission of the Florida Holocaust Museum is to honor the memory of millions of innocent men, women, and children or suffered or died in the Holocaust. The Museum is dedicated to teaching members of all races and cultured the inherent worth and dignity of human life in order to prevent future genocides.

Representative Young will be greatly missed. Our condolences go out to his wife Beverly and to all his family and friends.
