The Plight and Promise of Africa: An Eckerd College Initiative

Eckerd College will raise Africa's profile through academic study, activism and community consciousness. From January to December 2010, EckerdCollege will seek to engage its campus members and the residents of TampaBay in classroom discussion and public dialogue about Africa – a complex continent that affects our global conscience.
