Webography

The sites included here are only those created and maintained by legitimate organizations. Individual web sites are not included because of the uncertainty about the quality and content of the information they contain.

The Internet is capable of providing a variety of resources that are of use to both teachers and students. However, it contains much misinformation, personal diatribes, and other material inappropriate for students. When searching for information about the Holocaust, students are going to stumble onto "Holocaust revisionists" (deniers), Neo-Nazi propaganda, and other material created by hate groups.

Teachers are strongly advised to work with students when using the Internet, to make the process of locating information interactive between student and teacher, not just student and computer.
