October 27, 2019, 2:00pm at The Florida Holocaust Museum

On the first anniversary of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh, PA, The FHM presents the inaugural Richard Rappaport Family Foundation Lecture on Antisemitism, featuring Ira Forman. This lecture series has been created in response to the continuing rise in antisemitism. Having served as the US Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism from 2013-2017, Ira Forman has a profound understanding of the forces that are driving the resurgence of worldwide antisemitism.

In his current roles as Professor of Contemporary Antisemitism at Georgetown University and as Senior Advisor to Human Rights First, Ira Forman has continued both the study of and the fight against Antisemitism in the United States and Europe. His weekly-updated Movement Magazine feature, “Antisemitism Monitor,” is the most comprehensive compilation of worldwide Antisemitic incidents over the last year. He is also an acclaimed public speaker who has captivated hundreds of audiences with stories of the ongoing battle to stop the growth of the culture of hate.

Q&A will follow. The program is free and open to the public. RSVP is required. To confirm your attendance, please call 727.820.0100 x301.
